Zurich, Switzerland, May 15th, 2022 – In spring all kinds of ideas bud in the mind, just like the flowers and trees around us 🌷 So it came that I had the idea to search for local possibilities to physically display my concept THROUGH THE EYES OF AN OWL, which I already had thought out roughly.

I just needed to find an opportunity and it came to me by the ART TALENTS KUNSTMARKT ( art market ) in Zurich. It was quite accidental that I found their website and luckily I could manage to secure one of the last slots – sometimes you have to take the bull by its horns.

The Art Talents art market is a meeting point for budding artists, gallerists, curators, art bloggers and people interested in arts to mingle. From canvas paintings to sculptures, oil paintings, acrylic paintings, pencil drawings and alcohol ink paintings everything can be found there. It was as diverse as it was colorful 🤗 The atmosphere casual and familiar with artists around me chatty and helpful. All this took some of the nervousness as we were building up our exhibition stand construction.

Fortunately, me and my father-in-law came up with a light construction that could easily be carried by two easels and was put up fairly quick with the help of my parents-in-law and my hubby. A little shaky at first, but just slip and slide, done it was. Nowadays, it’s all about going lightly.

It was my first art event of the kind that was enriched by many curious visitors, family and friends, to whom I like this to express my dearest thanks for stopping by, exchanging chats and for boosting my motivation for upcoming projects. Thank you everyone for your support and help, it means a lot to me !

As much as it was a race against time with this spontaneous participation – I had to complete everything within one month – I could achieve to realize my ambitious project. This gives me a nice feeling and makes me optimistic for my further painting activities. It’s been a rewarding experience from start to finish – glad I challenged 😌
