Hello and thank you for visiting my art workspace ! I’m delighted to introduce myself and my artworks to you.

My name is Nomin, which means the color Azure blue in Mongolian language. I was born and raised in Mongolia. After graduating university, I moved out to live, study and work some years in Japan. Now I live and work in Switzerland, where I pursue my artistic life.

Since my childhood days I have been doing handicrafts of various sorts, drawing and painting, with whatever I could find around me. Being creative brings me into a fantastic world of ideas and dreams. Art is for me boundless, speechless communication, transcending out into the whole world. It is kind a like a personal diary and interesting journey to me.

I’m an autodidactic artist. Most I have taught myself for painting techniques and mixing of colors. Every work is a challenge for me. I’m constantly learning and the learning is never ending. Be it alcohol ink, acrylic painting or working with textiles, I’m ever excited to explore and discover new art territory. It is all about curiosity !

Thus, I have called my first ever alcohol ink paining – the little owl in the logo – by the name CURIOSITY. She is my cute mascot to following my around and launches me into adventures of all kinds (^_^)
